Jasper Krabbé's work deals with memories of people, places and events. His images appear as mental recollections, and are often indistinct, distorted and incomplete. They are always ambiguous, and appear to be lacking in logic. In Krabbé's hands, constructing a composition is a circuitous process. He often combines found objects, such as items of mail, packaging materials and pages from books, with his own distinctly personal view of things. Jasper Krabbé exhibits regularly in New York, Rome and Malmo, Sweden.
